The reviews on Amazon said the paints were easy to take off but I had a hard time doing so with makeup remover, micellar water and olive oil/soap. Keep in mind these are my experiences with the paints and I am a beginner at body painting so I am just learning how to understand the different types of body paints!

So I recreated this whole look using water-based paints and it came out amazing! Just posted a compare/contrast video with the Mehron Paradise AQ water-based paints on my channel here! https://youtu.be/sYqaa0EqzgI

With oil-based paints, you want to apply lotion before any paint to help with any possible staining. Additionally, to set it and "dry" the paint, you can use a translucent powder! It also helps to powder before adding second layers or details so that they don't smudge as easily into each other.

I tried this paint and did a trial run for Halloween. I used baby oil and baby shampoo to clean it off and it came right off with no staining and my skin felt really great after!!

Thank you! This is what I was searching for! Very helpful ❤

You did a great job for your first time!! You said 🦄🦜🌈! It's crazy starting a new skill, you'll get better with time. Praying for your skin btw 🙏

LMAO you guys I almost want to delete this because the final product came out so cringe but whatever! This is a learning experience!!!🤣

I find that grease paints are easier to work with when you set it powder . The colors in this pallet are super vibrant ✨

Thanks for an honest review

Hey Naomi! I totally get the crayon comparison concept. The waxy consistency doesn't yield the accuracy you were looking for. Maybe as a way of spending wisely as a beginner, maybe get the few primary colors and black and white from a quality company to practice. I don't body paint so I don't have great advice, sorry. You're doing well and I'm excited for your future! Keep up the hard work 🤜🤛

I would use mehron translucent setting powder its used to set costume makeup and to take it off i like to use ponds cold cream make remover it like melts everything off my skin really easily

Awesome! I've seen those on Amazon! I use the MUFE ones and several other creams as well as a lot of water activated SFX paints. LOL! Love you have the Biore strips! Yes, grease paints can sweat in heat. I've heard both great reviews and not so great about this palette...but as a dupe for MUFE it's probably the best one I've heard about. There's some SIIIC golds and silvers I have (speaking of C3PO lololol), but they're a different kind of SFX paint. Great to find your channel!😊💛🌻

Mine just arrived! I can't wait to get working!

I bought this on Aliexpress which is actually the same, I want to create a Pennywise on my face, but I think I'll buy a white foundation from NYX first and I'll use those colors for small details. 🤔
