  • Lyrics: There once was a bitter sweet man and they called him Lemon Boy He was growing in my garden and I pulled him out by his hair like a weed But like weeds do he only came and grew back again So I figured this time I might as well let him be Lemon Boy and me started to get along together I helped him plant his seeds and we'd mow the lawn in bad weather It's actually pretty easy being nice to a bitter boy like him So I got myself a citrus friend But soon his bitter sweet started to rub off on me You'd think smelling like lemon zest would be pretty neat I found out that my friends are more of the savory type And they weren't too keen on compromising with a nice lemon pie So Lemon Boy and me, we just gotta get along together I'll help him plant his seeds and we'll mow the lawn in bad weather It's actually pretty easy being nice to a bitter boy like him So I got myself a citrus friend But what if I run out of fertilizer What if the clouds run out of rain What if Lemon Boy won't grow no longer What if beaches dry of sugar cane Oh well The whales start to beach themselves Tortoise shells tear away from their spines It happens all the time, it happens all the time Lemon Boy and I, we're gonna live forever Like Snufkin and Little My, we'll get around wherever Lemon Boy and I, we're gonna live forever Like Snufkin and Little My, we'll get around wherever It's actually pretty easy being nice to a bitter boy like him So I got myself a citrus friend

  • Ok so I'm writing a graphic novel that circles around a bitter sad person, Alex, and his friend, Max,who is happy go lucky and the only one who can make Alex speak to people and smile. My inspiration was this song because it's about a bitter sweet man so I was like, hmm what if I made a story like this song? So now I am. Honestly I don't know how I'm going to draw all of my thoughts but I'm going to try. I'm going to put a quick summary of what I have so far so anyone in the comments can suggest things I could do. Alex is a troubled boy who has no parents or family to live with. They were either dead or didn't want him. This turned his once sweet soul bitter. Alex lives in a orphanage run by Gary and Jane. They were cruel and used the children for chores and work. At school Alex's bitter and stubborn personality prevented him from making friends and instead was purposefully ignored. To top it all off they made fun of his hat and cape! But Alex liked it alone, friendless and quiet. That was, until Max came along. So that's like all I have to summarize and I'm still working on it. Anyway please leave a comment and tell me if you liked it, or didn't, maybe you have some suggestions, whatever it is it'll be helpful. Thanks for reading!

So i made a bad story to this..... So there's a town Baker who loves kids and wanted one for herself but couldn't get pregnant, so she usually just gave muffins and cookies to the local kids for free to see their smiles. And there is a boy, who hasn't had parents for as long as he can remember, he bounced home after home, and all of his parents hated him, for he was a nuisance, he had learned that if you show emotion, your weak so he hid it deep in his soul. One day he ends up at the bakery after his 57th foster parents gave him up and is pretty hungry and the baker noticed and took him under her wing. She taught him that smiling and laughing were normal and beautiful things. She finally has the son she wanted. But her friends slowly realize she has a son and are asking questions about him, and about his parents and how they think he's no good, but the baker knows differently and has hope for the boy. He lives with the baker until he gets to 19. The baker gets a note from the doctor that said she had cancer and was dieing, but she hides it with a smile to not alarm the boy. Until one day when he came back to her small home and saw her laying on her bed, pale as can be, and for the first time since he was 5, he cried, he was scared. The baker put a hand on his face and sings his favorite lullaby from the younger days as her voice slowly gets softer and slower, reaching to give him a small kiss on the forehead, then, dieing, in his arms. Flash forward a few years and the boy is now operating the bakery, and after a long day of work he looks on his porch to see a young homeless girl, no more than 5. Hungry, and afraid. Edit: TLDR baker and boy, baker dies and boy grows up to find that the cycle had started over with him in the baker's shoes. Edit 2: I made an animation to the story
