I think her first bento boxes turned out better than she gives herself credit for. Yeah, they're a little rough, but you can definitely see what she was going for. She did a pretty good job given it was her first time doing it on her own!

This brings me back. My mom was a wedding cake designer and used to make us bentos in school. Since I was the only kid who had one, everyone thought it was kinda cool. The teachers who watched us at lunch would ask to take pictures of my lunch to show the other teachers. Low-key the worst part of growing up is not getting one each lunch.
