Peak Focus Upbeat Study Music Mix With Isochronic Tones

Published 2021-01-24
An upbeat study music mix version of my 'Peak Focus for Complex Tasks' isochronic tones session. It contains beta wave tones to help you reach and maintain a high focus mental state.

Use this track when working on advanced and complicated topics like mathematics, scientific formulas, financial analysis or any complex mental activity.

Isochronic tones produce a stronger and more powerful brainwave entrainment effect, compared to binaural beats study music tracks or standard music.

What is this?

This is a high-intensity audio brainwave entrainment session, using isochronic tones. Listen to this when you need a strong burst of intense focus to concentrate and study things like advanced mathematics, scientific formulas, financial analysis or any other complex mental activity.

How is this session constructed?

The session starts off beating at 10Hz and ramps up to 18Hz by the 6-minute mark. It stays at 18Hz until the final 5 minutes where it ramps back down again.

How to use it?

Listen to this track with your eyes open while doing the task/activity you want to focus on.

Headphones are NOT required

Although headphones are not required you may find they produce a more intense effect, because they help to block out distracting external sounds.

When to listen?

Because this track increases your beta brainwave activity, it's best to listen to this during the daytime and early evening. If you listen to this too close to bedtime, it might disrupt your sleep, in a similar way to how you might respond if you drank coffee just before going to bed.

How loud should the volume be?

The main thing to consider is that it should be loud enough to hear the repetitive isochronic tones, so you don't want it so quiet you can hardly hear them. But you also don't want it so loud that it's uncomfortable for you and hurts your ears, or gives you a headache. I'd recommend starting with the volume around halfway and adjust it to a level that you feel comfortable with from there.

  • I have really bad ADHD, and I used to be medicated, but then my doctor and I discovered that the meds were raising my blood pressure to an unsafe level, so I had to stop taking them. Ever since, I have been struggling with focus and concentration. I stumbled across your article about isochronic tones and admittedly I was really skeptical at first, but literally by the second day of listening with my headphones while studying for my college classes, I was hooked! I have never felt more productive and capable in my life. Not even the meds helped me this much! I put one of these videos on, and bam! I'm straight into focus mode and I can crank out a whole weeks worth of assignments in just a few hours. (not that I recommend getting that behind, but I was due to the med stoppage.) I got caught back up and nailed my final exam because of this too! Thank you so much for doing this for all of us!!!
  • I've got ADHD and find this is much more effective than binaural beats. It's entertaining without distracting. Very useful when completing mundane tasks. Thanks very much.

i have unmedicated adhd and have been struggling really hard this year to focus. your music is the only thing that helps me. thank you!!!! πŸ’œ
  • @CoreLabb
Thank you for this. Most Focus media sounds like funeral music. This is alert and energizing.
  • Holy Crap man... I went to bed at like 2:30 up at 7:30 to handle these important time crunch projects that I've been under the gun to finish with 40,000 other requests coming in, that I'm having to prioritize and manage... A little coffee and this song and my brain was BLASTING through the complex and detailed work. This is on the work playlist on repeat for me. It feels like TRON on speed for getting stuff done. THANK YOU!
  • Jason, your tracks helped me get through my first degree in half the usual time. Now, I am done with my Master's in 12 months! I could NOT have focused without your tracks. Thank you for dedicating your time to help those of us with learning disabilities. Many of us would still be struggling to succeed without your work.

I just started listening to this, and I was doubtful. But after a minute or two, I wasn't listening to it anymore....but...I was still...listening to it.

I just finished reviewing a 36-page PDF, which doesn't sound that long but I wound up flagging 173 edits and my brain is leaking out of my ears. All I can say is thank you for this absolute banger of a mix, I don't think I could have done it without you <3
  • what i absolutely love about this is not only that your mix is really nice and helps me a lot to focus on my work right now, but that this music is basically progressive trance (with some tribal and psytrance elements). Personally, I listen to this type of music a lot but usually I have to go out of my way to explain to people how upbeat music, especially psytrance, can make your mind more calm and focused. while this seems counterintuitive to a lot of people, I am happy to read the comments here with many people appreciating this. I could imagine that people are more inclined to be open to the potential of this kind of music when encountering it in the context of a youtube video that claims it will increase your focus etc. as compared to chilling with friends and someone who spends his time going to raves and taking drugs suddenly saying: "hey, let me put on some trance, believe me these parties are crazy" bottom line, thanks for sharing and spreading the power of trance!

Back in my day (hairless teen in the mid-80's) this music would have been called "Rad". At one point ----SICK. Now, definitely SLAPPPPPIINNNNN'!!!
