I took care of family right after her surgery for the same time of hernia!! Her recovery was CRAZY; it's been two years and apparently she still has gas in her abdominal region. I find you sharing your story so validating, and it's very courageous of you to include all of us in your healing journey. Thank you <3

I am glad you're doing better! I can relate though as I had my gallbladder out through a similar surgery. And just like you, the pain meds did nothing for the pain. You got this! The pain will end eventually, I promise!

The fact she still delivered all lines in just as energetic (heck the exact same amount of personality) as normal while in tremendous pain is a testiment of strength,
you're a powerful being Rebecca but by all means take the time (and ALL the breaks) that you need to heel.

Glad to hear you’re ok! I actually learned about hiatal hernias when I was doing my radiology program from 2019-2021 (I’m still trying to pass my registry soon so that I can be certified as a radiologic technologist. wish me luck on that)!
