This long after God of War released I still feel compelled to watch or read every interview with Cory Barlog. It's great to have such an inspirational personality in the industry.

There is absolutely NO ONE that shouldn’t like this guy! I am such a fan of yours Cory and you deserve all of this. Cheers!
  • @55meds
He should make a patreon because I will give him money RIGHT NOW for that GOW play through with commentary

Going through God of War a third time with New Game+ on the hardest difficulty, and the game is STILL amazing to play. Hands down deserves all the GOTY awards.

Cory Barlog is such an amazing human being. I finished God of War last week (got a playstation 4 for that specifically) and after thinking about it non-stop ever since, I gotta say it's my favourite game. Cory and the team put so much love and care, details, lore, emotion etc. into this game and you can absolutely feel it. I can't think of any game that feels so grand and great, while constantly having an emotional edge and potency. I just want to say: Thank you Cory, please take the time you need for the sequel! (And i'd also love it if you kept doing podcasts, because i've literally watched all of them on youtube)

Corey is one of the last Directors left in the gaming industry doing whats right by the gamers and the community. He launched God of War as complete as possible and it is one of the best games I have ever played. I pray he continues this series with the same intent. Best dude in the gaming industry.
  • The more I think about GOTY... thinking about Celeste, GOW, Red Dead 2, Smash Bros Ultimate, Dead Cells, Spider-Man and all the other games I’ve played this year.. God of War edges out Red Dead 2 for me because of the history. I’ve played and finished every God of War game on Day One. It’s was just incredible from start to finish. Now this year is another story.. Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2 Remake in the same week. Not to mention the rest of the year. INSANE.

Im only halfway through this episode and I had to comment this is why I've become such a fan of Kinda Funny in the short time I started watching their content. I love how real and honest they are. This is such a great converstation. I hope more Developers shine in 2019 like Cory did in 2018 so we get more great converstations and GoGs like this.

This was my favorite GoG ever. Cory Barlog is one of the best human beings, and I'd love to learn from him. Cory is genius and genuine.
  • I teared up about that story about the guy calling his father after beating the game, these are creators I can stand by!
  • @andresl8770
I played GOW on launch day and non stop until I beat it. Not one glitch or hiccup. it deserved game of the year just for that.

God Of War did the near impossible thing of making me want a sequel (dealing with ragnarok etc) and a prequel at the same damn time... I really wanna see the story of Kratos and Faye.
