It’s that time of year again… time for the Hatchetfield Honey Festival! And, of course, the whole town is wondering, “Who will be crowned this year’s Honey Queen?” When upper-crust socialite Linda Monroe sets her sights on the crown, she makes an enemy of cutthroat barista Zoey Chambers. Soon, what’s meant to be a pleasant pageant becomes a bloody nightmare as the two bitter rivals lie, cheat, steal, and kill their way to the top. It’s a battle to the death for the coveted throne of the Honey Queen.

I love that almost no lord in black shenanigans happen until the very end in this one, I adore the lords in black as villains but something about Linda and Zoey just inherently BEING that fucking twisted is really funny

I didn't expect Gerald to be so antagonistic. I thought he'd be a weak, kind, pushover who married the wrong woman, but no, he's got a mean streak.

If they were looking for a woman who "best embodies the spirit of Hatchetfield" Linda honestly deserves to be the winner - she's the one to represent how fucked up this town is. Of course that's exactly why we love it!

I love that here we see that Gerald is an enabler not because he's too weak-willed to say no, but because he's also terrible and the toxicity is what he loves about her. He probably knows about her "wrestling" with the tennis coach and he doesn't even care about it.

i really didn't expect linda and gerald to have a very healthy marriage? or you know, as healthy as two toxic people can have. i love how much they genuinely love each other!!! i expected gerald to be a weak pushover who hates his life and his wife but he loves her SO MUCH and is so goddamn supportive. and for as narcissistic as she is, she really seems to love him too.

I love how in Black Friday Gerald is implied to be weak and pathetic, but here we find out that he's just as awful as Linda, he just doesn't care enough to get too mixed up in her nonsense.

Gerald was about to die and texting Linda everything's okay is adorable. They were perfect for each other.

Joe's ability to come across as a teen, adult office worker, or affluent grandpa on a whim is impressive

Linda telling professor hidgens she'll fund his musical if he helps her and him immediately being like YES is so funny to me

I love how morally bankrupt both Zoey and Linda are. When Linda goes "which kid do you have?" Zoey doesnt get disgusted, just goes "oh let me check" XD What a great duo

I just love Linda and Gerald's dynamic. They are two awful people who are perfect for one another, kind of like the Thénardiers from Les Miserables.

Linda's song is giving Drag Race challenge in the best way. The unearned confidence, the minimal movement, the character is just done so well.

Gerald is a masochist, sociopath and a good husband...so perfect for Linda 😭 definitely an OTP.
