    Do you have the commercial that U of A ran in the fall of '82 during football games? It showed then-President Joab Thomas at his desk. Its closing line was, "At the University of Alabama, we want our students to be as good at this"--holding up a very thick book--"as they are at this!"--holding up a football. I always got a kick out of that, even though I've never been to Alabama!
