Building a base game trailer park for the BFF household (Sims 4 reno)

Of COURSE the swatches don’t match for near-identical base game windows, otherwise that’d make too much sense🤦🏼‍♀️

I love bulding trailer parks. They are such a fun community. Love your build, Satch. I think you can stop saying you're not a good builder.

You're being way more generous than all of the landlords we had when we were having to rent. All we had was a bathroom with a shower/bathtub combo, toilet and a sink and the kitchen had the cabinets, stove, pantry and fridge. We got very lucky to even have a fridge, because some places don't come with one due to prior tenants stealing them. Anything beyond that we had to bring with us and move it in. In some places we didn't even get a little porch. My very first apartment felt like it was just a converted hotel room with a kitchen.

Not sure if this is just a Tornado Alley thing, but all the trailer parks around here have a storm shelter in the basement of their communal building.

This build is really creative. I almost always forget about being able to technically have multiple houses on one lot.

We call them caravan and trailer parks in the US as well. They can also mean different things (trailer parks typically have stationary builders while caravans are usually on wheels.) They can also have these designs too with the front door and side door as well.

Oh my gosh. You nailed it. That is how the BFFs should be living. In the US, we have mobile homes that are on wheels, doublewides, and triplewides, which are "static" but delivered on a truck. We also have prefab homes, which are delivered in sections and assembled on the lots. These usually have basements, while the others don't, and they can be pretty big.

I think of base game only (BGO) as exclusively base game. And base game friendly (BGF), as mostly base game and pretty easy to replace/import

That original house is pretty common for college students! You sub-lease/rent a room in a house. I once lived in a 3 story (very old) house, and there were 7 of us living in that house, all leasing individual rooms from the landlady...it was hell.

I did this yesterday. It was tons of fun. I did it as part of my thing where i give a makover to all the townies +their houses. Now they look sm better
