I've got a lot of request making an extended version of this backing track and now it's done. Unfortunately I didn't have the original one so I had to make a remake of this song. But I think it sounds even better! If you think so comment down below :) ENJOY :D

For those asking or haven't figured it out Em / C / D / Em and repeat is the progression. For those just starting I suggest outlining those chords and bending into notes in those chords. Have fun!

I can still see it clearly in my mind, the night Weston played his guitar and sang 'Stop Running Away'. We recorded it at my home studio in Jena, Louisiana. I played lead guitar on an old Gibson B15 acoustic guitar and sang backup. Very few people knew what a great keyboardist he was. He is no longer with us and I miss him every day. I was still in a depressed mood after an hour of trying to play my way out of it. Your track came on and i got into it and felt like i was actually making music instead of just hammering away. Thanks for the save!

I almost got a divorce because I did solo over and over on this song that my wife hated both the song and me. Now I play when she is out. I'm destroying this. Seriously tho with this backing track i think I discovered the secret of of playing on any key. Thank you.

well done beautiful arrangement. started playing and had to stop when using the harmonic minor and phrygian dominant. brought me to tears from various memories, very simple and beautiful...the magic in music...thankx

By far my favorite track to play along with. First time I truly felt like I was decent at playing solo’s was to this track. Thank you for whoever came up with this. I will always use it to learn and improve. 🙏

I’m a rhythm guitar player , but since I started experimenting with these backing tracks I found out that I am really enjoying learning scales and soloing as well ... what a beautiful ride this life of music really is ... thanks for this.
