In this video you can see the first of two ambulances of the Bitburg-Prüm District Association of the German Red Cross, based at Bitburg Ambulance Station (Station 22), responding into the town of Bitburg. As the ambulance station is in the Masholder borough of Bitburg, the ambulance needs to cross the distance into the town via the B257. This vehicle, callsign Rotkreuz Trier 22/83-1, is an Ambulance of the Rheinland-Pfalz 2.0 build, a variant that has been unified throughout the entire state of Rhineland Palatinate, built in 2020. The second ambulance is its predecessor, being the only one with an air siren in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm by the time it was put into service.
