I think that King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are simply wonderful, a wonderful endorsement for monarchy and for the Netherlands and it is wonderful to see their visits to the United Kingdom. Queen Elizabeth is an amazing woman and I am proud that she is my Queen, she too is a magnificent endorsement for the UK.

Maxima loves to be seen, she performs her role beautifully. Quite different from all the dutch queens before her (Emma, Wilhemina, Juliana, Beatrix).. Sometimes, one might think dat Alexander is the prince consort and his wife is the queen ! She brings sunshine and colour to the dull calvinistic royal dutch lifestyle before her reign. Viva Maxima !

This was worth watching just to see gorgeous Queen Maxima wearing the amazing Stuart Tiara and Diamond. My goodness! And everyone looking just stunning. Oops a daisy, Prince Charles tripped on Queen Maxima’s sheer cape and almost took her down. She handled the mishap beautifully.
