As a Stars fan I really appreciate your honest analysis of your home team. Many Stars fans were scratching their heads and lamenting Jim Nill when Val became successful after leaving Dallas. Turns out Nill-stradomus is smarter then the rest of us and could see into the future. I agree getting Linus Ullmark could provide a solid tandem for the Avs in net. After the cup is raised in a few weeks it's going to be a really interesting summer for several teams. Most notable I think will be for Colorado, Dallas, Tampa, Boston and Toronto.

I appreciate your Candid truthful facts regarding both teams as a Dallas Stars faithful We haven't been as blessed with as much Success as we would Like But they have been hott for awhile and this season especially this playoff run seems like something special is happening for the stars. Spot on! This stars team has 90’s Jim Nill all over it. What red team ran a neutral zone trap and won 4 cups. When the legs are going on the forecheck, it’s tough to get through the neutral zone on the stars. This team has depth and punch. I believe the oil may be able turn it up to 8 or 9, “but ours go to eleven”. Let’s Go!

As a Stars fan and watching the best years of Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin wasted because the Stars could not be more than a one line team. It was nice to be on the other end and play and win against a one line team.

Don't forget that Dallas was basically just running 4 D with Lundquist only playing 5-6 minutes a game.

Personally I think Sammy G is a really defense man for the Avs and is much better than Manson or Johnson, especially because I think he is good in the defensive zone compared to Makar and Toews who are good in the defensive but truly excel in the offensive zone. So I think Sam is great defensively for the Avs, but I might just be to biased since my dad is like really good friends with him

Ullmark and Georgiev would be fantastic, part of Georgievs struggle in the regular season this year is because his back up was Prosmatov and Annunen this year, Annunen is a good goalie but he just isn't NHL ready and Prosmatov is no better and arguably worse putting ullmark behind Georgiev in a contract year would boost his numbers for sure and if Georgiev struggles as a fan I'm confident ullmark would be the guy to step it up im curious if McFarland could make that trade happen

Not to sound like a hater, I enjoy good hockey no matter what. However, because of history I'm no fan of the Avalanche, and Jamie Benn is one of my most hated players in the league currently. If I could have them both loose, I would. That being said, what an exciting series this turned out to be! Wish it could have went to 7 honestly. Solid breakdown of the series, and the upcomming offseason. A tip of the cap, to you sir from a Wings fan.
