The new ending to the song just confirms for me that the hotel is going to be angels personal heaven. He doesn’t give a single shit about actual heaven or redemption, the hotel is going to be his home and his heaven and that’s HEARTWRENCHING

The original song had a hint of melancholy, while still sounding like a party song. The new last verse really drives the melancholy.

It's interesting at the end lyrics, Angel said he's "raising Cain" as he describes moving into the hotel. Cain slew his brother Able, and is known for being a traitor. So when I hear that line...to me, it means Angel knows he's likely going to branded as a traitor by the majority of Hell for trying to reform.
