I believe that "Kin of Stained Blade" is more of a lore cinematic, not really a yone teaser. Yone gets more time in other spirit blossom cinematic and i would call it his teaser, cuz it really shows how yone got ressurected and where he got his mask from etc.

Ivern in his trailer really looked like he was about to sexually assault that poor soldier
  • @TrueKirb
It can’t be understated how the sound and music in these teasers can really make them stand out. LoL’s original music is really good.

As I mentioned in the description, I made a mistake by forgetting about the K'Sante gameplay trailer. After watching it a few times, I've decided it's probably somewhere in C. The music and cinematic stuff is cool, but it mainly suffers from how long it actually takes K'Sante to do anything. Some of those kills take forever to come through which lessens the overall impact. I'll add more updates to this comment if I change my mind about anything in the future. Edit: it's come to my attention that I've also forgotten about the Zoe Gameplay Teaser, that one is probably somewhere around low B tier, it was pretty decent all around but nothing crazy

on the gwen the side step was on porpose i belive, so it shows that its a skillshot and not a point and click

I feel it’s all perfect and I can agree on seraphine….. to a degree. my only complaint about it’s placing is that’s all promotion for the alternate universe which was KDA and her ultimate skin. Completely forgetting Runeterra’s piltover/zaun main universe self. so I would put it lower. Mainly For the facts that it is a skin promotion that went for months, not the actual champion from league of legends you see in your games.

i knew jinx was up there. For myself the best one since i it was the first login screen i ever witnessed. Still hits hard today. Great video :D

I really disagree about the Kindred trailer. I really love it and would put it way higher. Same for the Aurelion Sol one. I really don't like Gameplay trailers that much and instead really appreciate a good story told and some goosebumps.
  • @Erlyuman
If Amumu had been revealed in the music video about him it would have been easy Z tier imo
  • @bray7299
The senna revial has been my favorite ever since it first came out, it's the only trailer that I have rewatched just out of enjoyment, the scene where she pulls her gun out of the mist will probably be my favorite 5 seconds for a while, I agree with the take on Seraphine

Get Jinxed was absolutely mind blowing at the time. It was the first indication the players got that Riot was up to something special with the IP and the universe. Mind you the lore around then was taking a nose dive with tiny one paragraph bios for new champs and the canon was still about summoners puppeting volunteer champs for political gain or something. We would have to wait another year for Azir's release and the full lore rewrite in 2014. Before Get Jinxed the social media image of Riot was summoner showcase, champion spotlight and some miscellaneous videos that made you think they were just some college kids running the company youtube channel because they had to. What a massive glow-up would they go on to have since then.

when i saw senna's trailer in c tier i was personally offended until i realized it wasnt the one i was thinking of lol
  • @Dragonmist19X
I personally feel like the Belveth trailer is rated too high. It doesn't do anything to show off her gameplay or even the type of character she's supposed to be in game or at worst misleads what she's supposed to be in game. Like there's nothing from the trailer that shows she's some auto based fighter. Would agree on Seraphine being ranked so high if it wasn't for the fact that it wasn't advertising the champion but rather the skin for the champion. And while this may not entirely be related to the cinematic, in comparison Seraphine's base look and lore got next to nothing in comparison in terms of advertisement and hyping up.

Seraphine kda/irl crossover promo was stellar. Personally I was extremely hyped when the rumour mill started about that account being related to league. Too bad it came at the cost of her in-universe lore being embarrassingly shallow, out of touch and shafting skarner in the process. If they had nailed that half too I think she would be one of the most beloved champions rather than the pariah she ended up being. Her in game is also quite clunky and unfun to play against which didn't help but we've seen plenty of those on fan fave champs before.

You say you could easily see why somebody would move Tahm Kench further down than B-Tier? The Tahm Kench trailer is a clear S-Tier to me! I really appreciate good story over gameplay. Tahm Kench might not have gotten the best visuals, but in terms of storytelling it is among the best Riot has ever produced, absolutely keeping up with Varus. That being said Varus is the best Riot has ever gotten imo
