What an exhilarating experience training to sail on one of the fastest sail boats in the world! Thanks @SailGPUSA , If were never invited back we totally understand.
One thing that stuck out the most was the sound the F50 makes when soaring at 46 knots. You can hear the boat creaking, carbon flexing and foils screaming. What a fun trip with the legend. @JamieOBrienJOB

Was funny seeing that guy hold you underwater trying to make it uncomfortable, I’m thinking this guy don’t get what a 3 wave hold down at Jaws is really like 😂😂

Wow, what an experience! Glad u enjoyed it. I've raced lots of yachts and had plenty of capsizes but those F50 are next level, giving me goosebumps seeing how fast they go

The 2024 SF regatta (the season finale) is planned for 13-14 July which is usually much windier. Could be a wild one.

We have some friends that sailed for team USA in the early/mid 2000’s. We went out for a sail in San Francisco one year and I’ll be honest, dudes were pretty big dickheads. Massive egos, narcissistic bullshit everywhere, they seemed to be annoyed we even got to go with them. The boats these days are amazing, sure it was a great experience. I can’t imagine how much faster this is to a single haul sailboat, I’ve never been on a competition cat or tri.
