Stealing a horse was a VERY serious crime in the old west. You kept your whole damn life on that horse, and if you were jacked in the wrong spot, you could very well die before you reach civilization. It wasn't petty theft, this was a hangable offense.

11:12 I can answer this one. Sadly RDR1s code is REALLY Spaghetti and it led to a lot of development issues throughout. It's why the game was never released on PC for a long time, cause the code was so all over the place and unstable. They had plans to implement swimming, but yeah. Was unable to in time and just made water instant death. And when RDR2 came out, knowing John would be playable. They just decided to make it canon that John just can't swim. So it lines up with why water works the way it does for him in both games.

This game will always have a special place in my heart. This game is how I met my original Xbox 360 friends,playing online and using the canons on the fort. All these years later as grown men with our own lives we still get together every few months and go back and play online with the backwards compatibility.

I replay this game every other year or so. Still my favorite game of all time, even the sequel doesn't stack up to me

Something I just noticed after all these years, the Mexicans shouldn't be calling John "gringo". Gringo comes from "green go home" referring to the American soldiers, in green uniform, to leave Panama during the ocupation. An event that is many years away from the time of RDR

Luisa is super intelligent yet super young at only 19 years old, so ofc she was impressionable/vulnerable to a charismatic tyrant like Reyes. Her courage honestly makes her one of my favorite characters in the Rockstar universe in general
