My first red flag would be the bridal sales rep who just stated " I am not sure you know what you want". After the bride says "Ball Gown"! I would be asking for a diffrent consultant right on the spot. Bad enough to have family breathing down your neck, wanting you on your special day to wear their choice. Sheesh! But add to it a very clueless sales woman who wants to not make happen for you to experience your dream dress. 😮

Girl just leave this shop. You know what you want, they don't give it to you, you take your business somewhere else. Simple as that. There's bound to be a ball gown around for your budget.

I don't like the way the staff is acting. They are being jerks since she is a slightly older bride than the usual. They don't want to give her a ball gown. You mean to tell me they couldn't find anything for 2 grand?

From the very beginning she said she wanted a full ball gown and indicated her budget… why didn’t they offer to check the off the rack or dresses with reduced price?

Why not just tell her you don't have a ballgown at that price point, period? She can leave Klienfeld and go online to a place less expensive like David's Bridal. Just saw an Oleg Cassini ballgown for $1999. Just sayin'...

I don't know why brides don't research more before going dress shopping. If you only have $2k to spend, then Kleinfeld is likely not the place you're going to find a big full ballgown in that price range. David's Bridal, a local bridal shop, or even a discount bridal shop are going to be a bride's best bet.

She wants a ballgown, so the first dress you put her in is what the family wants? She is the BRIDE! Show the bride what she wants FIRST! She can decide she doesn't like it after she tries it on! It's not the consultant's wedding or the family's! It's HER DRESS!

I seen plenty of brides get a beautiful dress for $2,000 … who needs a $12,000 dress for a couple hours😂

They act as if this is the only wedding dress store in the world, there are dozens of other stores at reasonable prices where she can find a puffy dress... 🤷♂
