  • Seeing that swing reminds me of my Granny. She lived across the road from us. Me and her swung hours and hours. We talked and planned. It started when I was a little girl and continued on as I was a Mom for many years. Now I have a swing on my porch and swing with my grandchildren. She always said you can't just swing with everyone. You have to have a rhythm, timing and they can't drag their big boots as my husband does LOL Miss my sweet little red headed Granny!!

Tessie, it's easy to remember ounces in both weight and column. Remember: "A pint is a pound the world around." Both are 16 ounces. 2 cups = 1 pint 2 pints = 1 quart 2 quarts = 1 half gallon 2 half gallons =1 gallon. I hope this helps. Papa Roy
  • I love making soup. You can throw anything you like in it and it tastes so good! The soup you made looks delicious! Thanks for sharing another great recipe with us Tessie. 😊

Hi Tessie!😃 There are 32 ounces in a quart. I'm glad to see you back to being yourself again. Love ya lil sis!💖

Hi Sis! Minestrone is a great soup! Oh and 4 cups in a quart and 4 quarts in a gallon. One of my favorites growing up is what mom used to call refrigerator stew! On weekends she would go through the fridge and all the little portions of leftovers from the week would go in the crockpot along with some broth or tomato sauce and voila! Refrigerator stew!! So yummy! Soups are such a great way to use up leftovers! Thanks sis!
  • Ohhhh....I LOVE soup! Thanks again Tessie...we have LOTS of soups here in Alaska :)
  • Hi Tessie. That's my go to cookbook as well. lol. Another great video. Blessings and Love from Washington State.

Going to try this this weekend using either ground turkey or chicken an the yellow squash I have, we had some rain here, but didn't last to long, we had a motorcycle festival up here last weekend, think it rained on them for blessing of the bikes, but at least they were blessed for safe return home. Love ya, stay sweet
