The Game discussed his manager Wack 100's controversial comments on late rapper Nipsey Hussle, which led to a verse by Nipsey being pulled from The Game's album. Wack 100 had said that he did not believe Nipsey was a legend due to the fact that he had not had a big hit before his death, a statement that The Game disagreed with. The Game argued that Nip was on his way to becoming a bigger artist before his untimely demise and referred to him as a 'legend.’ The Game confirmed that following Wack 100's comments, the verse by Nipsey earmarked for his album was removed, though he didn’t seem upset by it, stating his understanding of the estate's decision and emphasizing his strong relationship with Nipsey Hussle.

Nipsey said that 50 told him not to drop an album in order to maximize his leverage when negotiating with labels and that’s exactly what he did 💯

The comparison to Big L & Nipsey Hussle was perfect, made so much sense.
  • @kyshac81
The Game would be so far ahead as an artist and a West Coast artists if he got away from Wack.
  • Victory Lap was an unbelievable album... And Nipsey was a 100 percent going to become a legend in every sense... I'm always sad as a listener knowing there isn't anymore music ever...

Nip is a legend look at the catalog. Mixtapes is damn near albums, he has classic material, he dropped so many jewels in the music, they paid $100 for a tape, he owned his business. Most of your favourites can’t say the same when they pass.

  • That's lame, because Nipsey said Game helped him out, and the first time I heard Nip was, because The Game was on his song bullets ain't got no name. I can imagine alot of others heard him because of that as well
