"Whatever I've done, I did it for love." I can't express my love for that lyrics, along with the intensity of the instrumental. It's so good, omg.

I was born in the right generation.

"What ever I've done, I did it for love, I did it for fun, couldn't get enough, I did it for fame but never for money." 0:47

The way this album ends is perfection, those last two minutes straight up made me tear up. Felt like someone you know you’ll never see again saying goodbye.
-
He needs to be nominated for a Grammy asap
-
Man that last minute there at 6:00 when he brought the drums back and starts harmonizing, that hits the soul
-
unpopular opinion: this and let it happen are possibly the best candidates for an ending song for a series
-
Every tame impala album: First listen: its pretty good but i think i liked his last album better 10th listen: headbanging and sobbing THIS IS THE MOST GENIUS SHIT I HAVE EVER HEARD
-
I don’t care if ur listening to this on release day or 2 years from now just enjoy the music

0:48 When the officers ask me about what they found in the basement:
-
the outro feels like falling onto the madness of the music. it fells like im in a beautiful explosion
-
Anyone else obsessed with the outro? The way it shifts from this slowing, heartfelt section into this ethereal groove with the drums is incredible

The Slow Rush is such a fantastic concept album. The concept is time, and it starts off with a track called ‘One More Year’ which is a song about enjoying a year to yourself, postponing everything until that year is up. When it begins he says “remember we were standing here a year ago?” Essentially saying it’s already been one year and they’re going for one more year. It ends with “One More Hour” which is the final hour of that year, however the song ends with “I’m with you and I can roll into another year” beautiful. Like time is infinite inside this album from start to finish. I love this album. My favourite sound on it is the end of ‘breathe deeper’ as well as the melody at the end of this song.
