You may want to put a sheet metal cap over the top of roof panels. You might get a bit of water coming in there. That could be done and still leave the ribs open for the ventilation.

Beautiful work gentlemen. Hat's off to the veteran builder and inspector. Retired GC and inspector myself. My mill is due to be delivered by the end of October 23.
