I love how to soft slightly matte finish really makes the black walnut pop. I also love the authenticity of the students names on the back. It’s a beautiful piece and I think it’s worth every cent it was auctioned for.

Back in my day, it was mostly greybeards who seemingly did this level of woodworking artistry. They were in all the woodworking magazines and I wished to be like them. Now thanks to the internet, I can see all the talented young folks create and I wish to be like you youngsters. Lol!
