Assassin's Creed Odyssey. This game is definitely the most split in terms of fan reception. There's quite a fair amount of people that absolutely despise Assassin's Creed Odyssey purely because well, it's a game that's not exactly traditional Assassin's Creed. However there are also a lot of people, myself included, that quite enjoy this game because it offers something unique and different to the franchise. Yeah this game has nothing to do with what we all love which is of course a story relating to assassins and templars, it's also a complete rpg game, but it's a game that really does give you a different outlook on the pretty rundown franchise that is assassin's creed. So what I want to do in this video is go over and talk about the game from its stunning world, to the story, the characters, the side content and so on. This is Assassin's Creed Odyssey 6 years later.

Assassin's Creed is an open-world, action-adventure, and stealth game franchise published by Ubisoft and developed mainly by its studio Ubisoft Montreal using the game engine Anvil and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, and Corey May, the Assassin's Creed video game series depicts a fictional millennia-old struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who desire peace through order and control. The series features historical fiction, science fiction, and fictional characters intertwined with real-world historical events and historical figures. In most games, players control a historical Assassin while also playing as an Assassin Initiate or someone caught in the Assassin–Templar conflict in the present-day framing story. Considered a spiritual successor to the Prince of Persia series, Assassin's Creed took inspiration from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol, based on the historical Hashashin sect of the medieval Middle East.

100% love this game. Despite finishing the game. I still play it over and over. The visuals, music, and the many quests. Love this game.

120 hours in and still plugging in my old PS4 every now and again to play it. One of my favourite games

When this game came out, I put 96hrs into it. Beat the story, Cult of Cosmos, Mercenaries, Hades, Medusa, Atlantis. I LOVED it. Because i haven't found any game thats held my interest recently, i decided to plop in into my PS5 and discovered the New Game+ option. Now im on another Odyssey with my level 73 character. This game is just awesome.

I think it’s a great RPG and good game. But as an assassins creed game I think it should have been a spinoff and not a main title.

I knew I was gonna get my money's worth out of this game after spending 8 hours just beating the tutorial.😂

I skipped odyssey because of bad review. Then i played vallhalla and end up depressed because of how bloated, repetitive & boring it was. Last year i try play ac odyssey because of discount and omg, this game is actually great. The world is stunning, story quite amazing, and most importantly, it’s not boring!

Although so many people dislike this game, I think its a very good game if you dont think of it as an Assassins Creed game so much. Disregarding, that it is an AC game, it is a really immersive game that lets you explore ancient greece with good graphics, good combat and very stunning locations.

This game got shit on it so hard. Suddenly a bunch of people saying "Actually, it's really good!" I loved it from day one. Became one of my favorite games.

Kephallonia felt Great probably the best introduction, Islands feel like full societies probably the best intro in a AC game for size and scale.

AC Origins and Valhalla also had that issue where exploring a place before given a quest might mean you have to revisit the same spot to redo it. I guess it's a drawback of the "go anywhere" open world RPG. On replays, I've decided to go do all of the gold-marked quests in an area before exploring every single point of interest on the map, then once I've done that, I'll go and tackle caves, forts, camps, etc. That prevents doing double work.

Like Valhalla, not much of an Assassin's Creed game but a hell of a period simulation. Great for playing a game through Ancient Greece. Just like Valhalla is great for exploring Anglo-Saxon Britannia as a Norseman. From Eivor's point of view rather than the view of an Assassin. Just like Alexio or Cassandra's view of Ancient Greece.

Only at 996 hours of this game.Started yesterday a new game at 994 hours, played 2 hours and still loving it.

Fantastic that you mention the historical accuracy- theres actually a university that uses AC Odyssey exploration mode as part of their Ancient Greek studies course, the game really is that accurate in its depiction of Greece during the Peloponnesian War. As a student of this time period myself I spent hours just wandering around the different locations breathing it all in. Great video

AC Black Flag and AC Odyssey are for me the best AC games ever

This game jumped straight to my absolute favourite assassin's creed game. I was gutted that on my first playthrough I only saved 2 of my family so I immediately started playing again. Love the characters, love the setting, love the mythical monsters. I love that there's no fall damage & Alkibiades will always be my babe ❤

I love this game its in my top 5 fave games of all time. I feel like most people talk crap about it and it wasnt as well liked by most people. It does differ quite a bit from the other assassins creed games but i just love the setting and how beautiful this game is the story is pretty good too and kept me invested and the side quests can be fun and funny. Really glad you made this video.
