Ari went through a lot. Her parents split when she was a preteen, her grandpa passed away, a lot of her fans died infront of her, Mac died, she got a lot of hate from a lot of foolish people too. THIS WOMAN WENT THROUGH A LOT! Yet she stands unbeatable! She is constantly making music in order to heal herself and her fans since then. She is giving a lot of love and happiness to everyone. She is supporting the right thing(BLM, LGBT, US elections etc) . She is an angel. Give her some respect. Hating her for no reason and putting her down may not be helpful to you. That's clownery

She helped me when my parents were going through a divorce. She saved me from almost having depression. Arianna if you see this I want to THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME😭😭😭😭😭

I think in my theory, she's speaking about her struggles of being a celebrity and still being human. She pretends she's perfect and fakes a smile, but really, she's a human being with feelings. She can't be herself around certain people, tired of always living up to her reputation by going to parties and places and learns to not make mistakes or show her true feelings and needs protection to get to places. It shows that she's tired of it. She can't fake another smile.

This all makes sense. Ari said in one interview that she just wanted to sing, turn the lights off, and not do lots of concerts. She did this song because she wanted to express how she felt, she acts perfect, but she's a human like us, with feelings. In 0:45, her voice felt like in pain. The dialogue "Don't blame me" was referring to either Mac's death, or the Manchester Attack. She doesn't go to meet and greets because she can't fake another smile.

I should be listening to positions, but I can't get over this gem. ❤ It's so liberating to listen to it, especially in a bad day.
