We call him Mama in Assam ♥️.People suprise by his speaking skills may not know he practiced in Gauhati High Court and a Doctorate in Philosophy.. My father said since college he had this charm and was very popular for his leadership skills even in different colleges like the one my father went. I am so proud he represents our constituency 🙌🏻. He is always there for his constituency people from helping kids study without worrying about books and uniform to empower woman to start their weaving bussiness.

My favourite cm till now was yogi ji but now it's definitely him, he is so straight and clear about his ideas and goals, he does not sound tangled or under pressure at all. We need more people like him in politics.

I have meet Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in person in 2018 & 2019. He is a very humble person. I've known him since a child..when I was just 4 years. He is a very charismatic leader and always dedicated his life for Assam & it's people, Northeast and India. He is really a PM material. ❤️❤️❤️ Mama❤️

Being from Assam, since childhood, I had been dying and dreaming to see the first politician from Assam to answer in Hindi, to answer in English without fumbling with the first few words and go dead, to questions asked by any mainstream journalist. How the heart used to cringe to see politicians from Assam going white with confusion with even a 'yes/no' question asked in English or Hindi so many times...the frushtrating wait of decades got over today when I found this interview and such a rewarding one. When I find that the interview lasted for not a few seconds, or at most, a couple of minutes, but a full hour and three minutes where the CM, of Assam, HBS, spoke with such total command over his answers, with such clarity to not simple but an intricate volley of questions from an accomplished journalist, the heart has to flutter with joy...It is as if he compensated in that one hour with his tongue-in-cheek, humorous and yet supremely packed-up, probing dealings of the questions for all the linguistic inability and insufficiency in Hindi and English of his fellow politicians from Assam over decades. When interviews can get so humorous and unpretentious, yet so wise, they can redefine the whole art of interviewing. Salute...

I'm Bengali from Assam but now i came here in delhi to study i visited a nearby electronic store and trust me the first thing he said was "i love ur state C'm" and i answered him by saying are vo toh sabke mama hai 😂 ye rajasthan election campaign mai , Delhi mai hamare mama ko lao vote pakka hai mama ka commitment powerful hai .
