Southgate has been the luckiest England manager I can remember as far as getting favourable draws, it literally kept him in the job this long. Trouble is eventually in every tournament we come up against a higher ranked team and I can’t remember him once managing to win one of those games. Draw is a gift on paper but not playing the way we are.

I'm here, from Slovakia, thinking we actually have a chance! Seeing how England plays. Even among my friends we actually do not understand, how many players Soutghate missplaced! It's unbelievable. The team does not work. And as United fan, am so relieved we did not appoint Soutghate.... uff.

Haven't once heard Southgate say , "the players have had a long season and we need to rotate the squad" .................Southgate doesn't understand the concept of rotating a squad , it's an absolute requirement in a competition like this
