Basically, Doug lost the first match where both players could see normally, so for some reason he decided to make it harder for HIM by making it really hard to see, so Doug takes way longer and chat really isn't affected because they are just spamming rump anyway.

Just so everyone knows, this stream was 5-6 hours

Imagine if this happened with actual DVDs. You're watching a movie, you fall asleep, the screensaver comes on after the movie ends, you wake up 4 hours later to the sound of Doug screaming "CORNER!" multiple times super loudly even though the volume is only at 8.

1. Create a good idea for a challenge stream
2. Devolve into madness

Only a DougDoug stream can go from a 2D platformer challenge, to making said challenge impossible to watch, to bet rigging, to a 5-minute coding adventure for two hours, to music making, to competitive edging, to CORNER CORNER CORNER CORNER, to actually doing the challenge, in only one hour.

The thing is, chat was never disadvantaged as much as Doug because in a regular game the majority of their movements are random and they don’t need to see
