I saw the kinks back in 80 or 81 can't remember what yr, was not the best concert but their music was so true to heart and this bass player was in such tune r.I.p. jim rodford

He was born the same yr as my step dad but a 1000x cooler, I could only wish I had him as a dad. I was born in 64

Such a sweet, decent man. Spent two blissful nights with him the year he joined the Kinks. It was only supposed to be one night but then he came back again the following night, much to my delight! I didn't even know he had died until a few days ago and I've been thinking of him ever since. RIP Jim. You were a good man.

Nice memorial to a great bassist, very well done. He was always a favourite of mine and was a very lucky man to spend 6 decades doing a job he loved. He will be missed.
