Confused? Where is this, ?a private neighborhood? Where's the Mother? I see absolutely no other animals or sounds. I Mom Deer will leave there young alone in a field with grass flowers and bushes. Even though it's exposed, the grass and bushes are some camouflage. When the baby lays down it's hard to spot in the distance. Usually the Mother is not far when she does this. In the road tho...not sure what to think. I would've at least waited in the distance to see if Mom came back. This makes me sad. I want answers! Please 😮❤

Never touch or move a baby deer. Mom has left it there as it’s safer near a road from predators. If u touch a wild animal your scent is left and mom may reject baby. Per Fish and Game personnel.

Not understanding why you did what you did and said no and just drove off 😡 just leave it alone!!

If anything and it was in the middle of the road-take it to a vet or some place because once you touch it, the people up above are right, the mother will reject it. Could have been trying to keep warm on the warm pavement ?
