Rather surprised that the fastest time for this was almost a minute when all you have to do is kill the boss. Which is sometimes easier said than done depending on what spawns nearby.

Surprised here that the next fastest time is 51 seconds by Red-XIII, since the whole point of the run is to kill the boss asap. Just grab the rocket launcher and stock up on rockets you need and shoot the boss at the earliest opportunity. Sub-30 seconds is possible but might require a bit of luck to trim that much off as at that point you're reliant on rocket damage randomness.
Pretty sure getting the wall to lower around the boss would save a touch of time but if I remember correctly, I think I just gave up on relying on that as it seems pretty random if it lowers immediately upon hitting the switch or not. I couldn't find any sort of reliable method for ensuring it lowers immediately, so if you're going to attempt to optimize this further, you'll have about half your runs end at the boss switch.
I've had this run sitting on my hard drive for a literal decade and forgot I had it. So I guess it's time to post it up and get it out there before something happens to it. The date on the file says September 9th, 2013, so... yeah. Oops.
I included a 30-second misc demo in the zip that I did but forgot I had the -respawn tag on for, which invalidates it as a UV-Speed attempt. I tried replicating another 30-second clear for a bit but was unsuccessful.
