I think Minecraft is an excellent way to learn languages. Not only vocabulary but also grammar. My English grammar improved drastically when I started playing on an international server a few years ago. The server doesn't exist anymore, but I have kept on learning English from playing Minecraft, by thinking that I'm a Let's Play YouTuber describing everything I see and do in the game. I have recently started to learn German, and I will try the "YouTuber method" to practice German too. Thank you for the video!

Great video, Dave. I've been looking for something to expose myself to the german language for a while and this kind of video is perfect for that. The subtitles in both languages, the color coded words and even the way you speak really help alot, I admire the work you put into this. I'll definitely be checking more of your videos.

My language, (Afrikaans) is a language heavily developed from German, Dutch, French and English) so a lot of words and phrases, and even the syntax is similar to German. I've always loved Germany and the language, and I so desperately want to learn it, especially given I have sort of a head start but now I'm trying to see what the language sounds like spoken normally and this is so interesting to me!

Es ist ein gutes video /\ it took me minimal 5 minutes to make that sentence, anyway I use duolingo to learn german but these video's just make it easier to learn german and I even learned a few words already and before i watched this video i knew a few words and sentences like: Ich kann ein klein bisschen Deutsch sprechen
