Today is Jim Henson and Steve Whitmire's birthdays. Mr. Whitmire turns 63 and Mr. Henson would've been 86. Mr. Henson created the Muppets and performed the main character, Kermit the Frog, from 1955 until his death in 1990. Mr. Whitmire then took over the character from 1990 to 2016. Kermit is currently being performed by Matt Vogel.

Those people are very special in my life because if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have become the puppeteer that I am today. It was an honor to have met Mr. Whitmire back in 2018 and I would've loved to have met Mr. Henson if he hadn't have died before I was born, but that's okay. I'm sure I'll meet him when my time comes.

Anyway, for their very special days, I thought I'd have Clyde "play" my toy ukeke and sing "Rainbow Connection" from the classic 1979 film, "The Muppet Movie". I hope y'all enjoy.
