On the Road to Jerusalem - Matthew 21:1-11 - Skip Heitzig

Published 2022-04-11
Today, on Good Friday, and on Easter Sunday, we consider events that occurred while on the road. As Jesus approached the city of Jerusalem for His atoning death and glorious resurrection, He was met on the road by a crowd of worshiping supporters who laid their garments on that road as Jesus entered their city. This singular event, traditionally called the triumphal entry, displays four attributes of God’s personality reflected in Christ’s life and ministry.

This teaching is from the series On the Road with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

I am grateful that our Father did not say, 'Forget about it'. Jesus's out of the closet believers arrived on time, took Him off the cross for His burial, as guided by the power of the Holy Spirit. He did Not land in the City Dump, Instead God's steadfast love never fails as shown through the proof of Jesus Christ complete, once and for ALL sacrifice. We could have been chopped liver. Thank You forever, Jesus and Father God!

Thank you for your teaching. How accurate is the calculation by the Lunar Calendar? God knows all the details, and we must obey Him. Happy Palm Sunday!
