Love this interview. I suffer a stroke back in 2017.. I'm grateful to be alive. I'm 80% on my recovery and my life is getting better. I didn't accept that I will never walk again. today I can travel anywhere I want not tied in a wheelchair anymore.. Thank you for sharing this!

This is why I like Tom. He hold his guest to the fire until he can understand where they are coming from and he respectful elaborates on where he disagrees with them. He has a skill of communication that is underrated. He’s not a “yes” man. He listens to them and can take what is good from the conversation. He accepts the good without having to accept everything he’s told without making the guest feel attacked or belittled.

That quote was really powerful: "Your level of success will seldom exceed your level of personal development."

Dr Masaru Emoto is the name they were searching for on water studies. Highly underappreciated work.

Lesson - accept reality exactly as it is. Every negative emotion is created by my resistance to my reality. It’s not them. I am responsible for my reaction and my experience.

Something I just started to understand recently. Faith is active. It’s something you DO, not just something you have. Where there’s true faith, it will produce an action in the direction of that faith. And then fruit (results) follows faith.
  • @AFreshWordOrg
This is the FIRST guy that made visualization and affirmation make sense.
  • Masuro Emoto is th name of the Japanese man who studied water & th affects of our energy on it. Cuz we’r 80-90% water in our bodies. So our state affects the energetic expression of th molecules. I’m so so grateful for this reminder.. someone pissed me off today (hurt my feelings) & I need to CHOOSE my emotions!!
  • When he says “What is your wheelchair”,, that hit me differently

"Everything happens for a reason but you get to choose the reason." - one of the best quotes I've heard in a long time. So many good quotes in this convo
  • A man’s search for meaning is what of the best book I’ve ever read!!!!!!
  • We totally mostly live in our head, react positively, our experiences are created from within

I listened to this on podcast twice back to back, and needed to watch it as well. This seriously unlocked a cycle of pain Ive been in for a few years. I was resisting my reality 🤯 wow

1:09:30 For "beating the snooze button", as well as moving the clock, I have a phone app that requires me to answer a couple simple math questions. I've found it's really helped me the last few years.
  • @kofuller
The Miracle Morning the first self-help book I ever read. I lost 80 pounds because of the epiphanies I had while reading it.
  • @sevi4492
The only power we have as a humans is how we Respond (how we choose to be) to a situation! Respond is different than React! This is our biggest power!! ✨
  • I almost quit, but I wanted to hear Hal. Anything you put your faith in is eventually breakable or subject to failure. I love what Mr Elrod said about "faith in possibility". There is truly infinite possibility of outcomes, which to Tom's point are always better if you are prepared.
