Former President Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan is set to resume with testimony from Gary Farro - a former senior managing director at the now-defunct First Republic Bank - about his involvement in the hush money payment to Stormy Daniels. Katy Tur is joined by former Manhattan prosecutor Jeremy Saland and former U.S. Attorney Paul Charlton to discuss what the prosecution is looking to get from Farro's testimony.

    Trump needs to be held accountable. Many Americans have been so stressed and have gone through so much with covid, Jan 6, the elections just to name a few. I want to see him pay through the justice system.

    Legal pundits have estimated that this trial will take about six weeks Katy. There must be lots of hard evidence and witness testimonies to fill six weeks of court activity.

    Mr Charlton is right, unfortunately. In my years of uni teaching before I retired in 2012, profs were told to try to teach in 15 min segments because students didn’t have the attention span for a 50 min lecture. Sad really.
