Honestly, one of the best relationships through the show, the friendship and sibling dynamic these two give is too wholesome, and it shows their bond was more than just a mere crush.

I really love how Wendy was so understanding of Dipper when he fessed up about his feelings for her, even though she already kinda knew. Because chances are, she’s probably been there before, and knows how it feels to like someone who you know you probably don’t have very much of a chance with. And instead of making him feel embarrassed for it, she lets him know that it’s okay and it won’t effect their friendship.

Did you know that at 3:45, Wendy hands Dipper her drink to show him the picture of her, and then when she asks about the birthmark, Dipper drinks out of her cup, and Wendy doesn't even react. I feel like that shows how much of a friendship Wendy and Dipper have together. It's a shame that Dipper was only 12, because they'd be the perfect couple!

Funny thing, Wendy never treats Dipper as a kid or a little brother, she is the same to him as she is with her other friends; in fact, I think Wendy spends even more time with Dipper than she does with her other friends. The hat switch in the end is so meaningful, Wendy wants to make sure she and Dipper have something from each other. I am pretty sure they will end together a couple of years later

I headcanon Wendy is Dipper's best friend in the Falls. Yeah, he spends a lot of time having fun with Soos, but Soos was nice to everyone. And with the exception of Ford, Wendy's the only character in the show who seems to treat Dipper with more affection than his sister. That says a lot about them, I think. Which is why I'm okay with them as a couple or not, as long as they stay close.
