  • Is it just me or is the gaming scene kinda lacking these days? Here I am, watching a video about a game that came out two years ago because there’s nothing “epic” in the marketplace and hasn’t been for awhile now. Might just have to boot up Skyrim again.

if you still wondering buying this game or not and stumped in this comment , just fricking buy it, youtube videos and people opinions prevented me playing this beautiful game for two years , and i tried it because there was a free trail on it, and i said to my self, damn all this time , and never took an internet opinion ever again , if you want to know if a game good or not, play it !! you are the one who decide 😊

I’m currently playing AC Valhalla, and I absolutely love it. Maybe it’s the settings, the middle age era, has never failed to be attractive. Any games or movies taking place Middle age are so cool! I enjoyed the Plague Tale series, The Witcher series, The Elder Scroll series and as for movies, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit

I think Valhalla looks pretty cool and I don’t consider it to be an AC game I consider it to be itself like a whole different game which is prolly why I enjoy it more then others

I just wish the music to be permanent while exploring the world. It would make the act of simply exploring the landscape a reward in itself, like Skyrim. The OST is incredible.

It was an amazing Vikings game, the best one ever. Not sure why people keep complaining about it. The content is endless. And it looks beautiful. What’s not to love? The story is pretty basic but not bad per se, it’s just not emotionally gripping. But still better than 90% of recent Marvel movies.

Awesome review man. Most people click on these videos looking to enjoy either a hate or love campaign, but it was nice to hear thoughtful takes about the good and bad elements that the game has to offer.

I’m going to give a simpler review for people in my situation. If you’ve just watched Vikings or the last kingdom and you want a game to play after you finish bingeing the series …. This is everything you need . Spark a blunt and play the last kingdom soundtrack in the background and you won’t be found for hours

I agree wholeheartedly. The best gaming experiences I've had, were when I went into games blind without having any idea of what they would bring. Bloodborne was one of those for me. It was my first soulsborne, and I had no clue what I got myself into. All the pre-release breakdowns and showcases just takes away from that freshness. Then tuck on all of the markers and map icons... I'm out before I even got started. In witcher 3 I disabled all markers besides main quest and that made the game infinitely better. I wasn't just checking off a list, but actually went into the world to explore it. This is something the devs have to learn. We don't need handholding. We can figure things out on our own. Much like in Morrowind where you had to pick up a note after someone fell from the sky... only to find clues where you had to discover landmarks and explore to continue the quest. This has has been lost in the new design, and it saddens me.

A very comprehensive & enticing take on this polarizing game in the iconic series! With each review I watch from you I am infinitely impressed, making your channel among the finest on YT! Keep up the fantastic work my friend, cheers!

I enjoyed Odyssey alot, Greece was fun and there was so much to entertain me. Valhalla was lacking, even in mystery and weapons. I felt like a slow turtle just mauling soilders. The best was the Enzio trilogy, the storyline, weapons, shops, won me over. I do hope Mirage brings it back.

I’m enjoying hunting down the order. It’s a little old school as it’s based on written clues without giving you the answer 100% explicitly. Great video though. And very fair comments.
  • i loved a lot of the old ac games but none since origins, but on sale for $20 or less this is a solid entry, there is a lot to like here for what it is
  • @AverageYTer
I was never an AC fan. Too much “discover this part of the map” gameplay. However, this game is honestly amazing. It might be too different for true fans, but as someone who loves medevil/viking era games, this one continues to keep me coming back.

What do you know? I 'picked up' the game thanks to Ubisoft making it free for the weekend of August 11-14th. I went in with somewhat of a 'negative' perspective/not expecting too much of it after watching some reviews since it came out, and I actually found myself really enjoying it. As I'm writing this comment, I'm debating whether I should buy the base game or not (just the vanilla, I don't really do DLCs) It's currently on sale for 15 USD (around 22 for me due to currency exchange) and I'm, like, 60/40 in favor of doing it I was only able to make it to around 43% of the main campaign. It is nothing to write home about and I personally enjoyed the God of War: Ragnarok reimagining of the Norse Mythology way more. Granted, I no longer see the RPG saga as "Assassin's Creed" games but as a simple "Ubisoft turn-your-brain-off RPGs". With that mindset, I fairly enjoyed the Viking power fantasy. Yes, it is as if not even more bloated than Odyssey and Origins, but I kinda liked it.

Tip: Go to settings and activate hood up at all times & activate 1 hit assassinations. You're welcome

Love your review style! You deserve more subscribers. Great quality.

This game looks and sounds amazing. Im actually convinced that if they would have released it as just ¨Valhalla¨, then people would have loved the game.

See my personal opinion on this game is this, it's not a assassin's creed game, it's a viking open world game with assassin mechanics. I'm actually more drawn towards the visual aspect of the game and the views and enjoying the snow and atmosphere of being a viking more than playing the game. You have to take this game with a extremely slow approach and sort of kick back and just enjoy the scenery sort of game. Yes there is action and story but the overwhelming amount of space in this game sort of forces you to just slow down or to stop playing which isn't what assassin's creed is about. My review out of 10 is a solid 6. It's a good viking open world game but not a good addition to assassin's creed storyline. Would i buy it? As a assassin's creed game no, as a viking rpg game yes. Its sort of backwards and it sometimes grinds my gears even while playing this game.
  • Here’s my take on assassin’s creed Valhalla if anyone could care to read enough it’s a really good game in my opinion almost every single part of the game is screenshot worthy it’s absolutely gorgeous. The combat is fun the stories entertaining and once again, it is a absolutely gorgeous, open world, but that’s what it does and it does that perfectly. In my opinion it is a really good Viking game but you slap assassin’s creed in front of that and it sucks when I bought assassin’s creed Valhalla I expected to play a kick ass, assassin’s creed game set an a Viking time, but I ended up playing a kick ass Viking game and completely forgot I was playing a assassin‘s creed game. I feel like if they re-branded this game as Ubisofts Valhalla. Instead of assassins, Creed Valhalla, it would work a lot better because it truly is a stunning and very fun game but it’s a very fun Viking game not a fun assassin’s creed game.
