EC3 is too smart for his own good in a business full of buddies and favors. He refuses to play the game and I appreciate him for it.

I don't like the catchphrase much but maybe EC3 isn't the right messenger. He couldn't get himself over on the big stage.

I like Cody but that's the worst catchphrase in wrestling that he's been trying to get over since he left AEW, And the way he says it is so cringe...

The audience must be curious about what u are going to say. If everytime u come out and say " what do u wanna talk about" it is just so lame, predictable and boring.

Though I will agree that Cody’s catchphrase sucks, EC3 cannot talk. Isn’t his nickname the “over man”? Apparently, Mr. Carter the third is huge into ironic nicknames. He couldn’t be over, man, if he were being managed by 3 HOF guys at once. He’s a decent talent who can wrestle and somewhat talk. But he’s never been “over” in his entire career in any promotion. He’s now drawing dozens in random arenas for NWA.

1. The Catchphrase is annoying because it's repetitive, and the delivery doesn't make it no better. 2. Not only that but when you say. " What do you wanna talk about ? " You automatically putting your fate in the audience hands. With just 1 sentence you're allowing the audience to dictate what you say and do. 3. Every other great talker Commanded the audience. They NEVER put the power in the hands of the crowd. Steve Austin " Cause stone cold said so". Rock " if you smell what Rock is cookin". Even the previous champ Roman Reigns "Acknowledge Me" .

I agree, but it seems Cody doesn't really have a catchphrase!

Once "What?" and "Yes!" became catchphrases in WWE I knew catchphrases jumped the shark and were never coming back to what they once were. Just another thing WWE took that was once special and watered it down and killed it.
