I also have a love/hate relationship with the Hachette CBN books. I have tried different mediums to see if I get the look I like and I'm never completely satisfied. What I'm trying know is outlining with tooli art acrylic marker and then filling the spaces with neoii. So after outlining , the page looks like a color by color page. I find neoii allow me to get the right value/hue/chroma I need much easier than using any marker.

Hey, I actually have a WIP this month too! I was working on a page in Enchanted Forest and my buddy for a buddy color in May finished her page early so I thought, man, I better get started on that one. So I abandoned Johanna Basford to go work in Eriy. Don’t get me wrong though… as soon as this Eriy page is done I’m going back to Enchanted Forest. I hate having unfinished projects lol. Oh, and LOVE the look of the Holbeins. So vibrant! What a nice husband you have! 😁

I live and work in France so I had to learn French... and "Boules de poils" and "Animaux des bois" are definitely not the most pronounciation-friendly words out there xD
