Shrinkflation is a disgrace!!!!

Was having this talk with my daughter a few days ago...Canada is the same We are getting less product in almost everything and paying higher prices per item. i buy my toilet paper at Save On Foods here.They haven't made the roll of the brand shorter (yet) but they did up the price by 2 $. I'm 59 and this is such a different world from what I remember growing up.. I'm grateful and not ashamed to say when covid hit my community started helping people by collecting the produce the local food grocery stores were going to toss....sorted through it and distributed to the community center here once a week as a free open outdoor market. To this day it continues and I'm so grateful to get free fruit and veggies weekly. I'm on a pension and this kindness is making it so I get through each month given the high cost of everything. Often I think what the next five , ten ...years will look like, it's scary . I'm an optimist so I pray and hope things will change in this world for the greater good for all. I could not agree with you more! I just turned 71 and I remember the boxes of cereal were filled to the top. You had to be very careful when you opened it or it was all over the place! I will not buy those products anymore that are mostly air. I get the goat yogurt at Natural Grocers and it is filled to the top. I cannot eat regular yogurt, but the goat yogurt does not affect me. Don’t get me started on the price of meat! I thought last weekend I would like to grill a nice steak; haven’t had one in ages. Well, still haven’t had one! My Molly is the same way during a storm except she camps out in the bathtub! Hi Lillie!!!!

The entire global economy is like that. It's no coincidence that all these companies are using the same tactics.

Making your own yogurt is so easy if you have an Instanta Pot--not trying to be a salesman for them, just saying. Depending on how much whey you leave in your yogurt, I think it's almost nine pounds. I'm sure making goat yogurt would be the same process. Cheers.
