I am not afraid to admit that as a 55 year old male I blubbed like a baby watching this scene at the cinema mainly due to this track. It still sends a shiver up my spine.

Madeline: "She has your eyes..." Bond: "I know.....I KNOW." 😪😪

41 years old, took my son (16 at the time) to see this film in the theater. My boys grew up watching the Craig Bond films with me (most of them in the theater), so this scene was especially hard for me to get through. When I looked over and noticed my teenage son getting emotional, that was it for me. I was a total wreck. Listening to this track still takes me to that moment, which speaks to the power of music. Zimmer has the ability to convey the emotions of cinematic moments like no one else in film history.

The first 5 minutes i get emotional reading people comments. The final minutes i cry myself reading my own emotions.
  • You Went Out Perfectly As Bond Daniel Craig: "I Know............. I Know."

Don't know which was harder....hearing Madeline say she does have your eyes...or seeing Q face his fear and look at Bond's vitals drop to 0 and then go offline.

My father was a bond fan and love the Craig version. We both saw all the movies and this by far was hard for us cause it was the last one. My father then past later on and i think he knew his time was coming. This song gets me on when Bonds lover says i wish we had more time. My father would've said to me, "We did, and im glad i was your father. Till next time." His sudden death was hard for me, it took me almost a year to restore myself.

"I wish we had more time together." "You'll have all the time in the world..."
  • this song brings me peace, makes me feel i can finally rest, it's truly a piece of art

During the film, as soon as that first note hit, I looked over at my wife and nodded yup, this is the end, tears already welling, I knew what was coming............ this hit the bone
  • As an 18 year old, growing up with Craig as my only Bond, I can’t imagine anyone besides him ever in this role. What an actor, thanks for the memories.
  • Zimmer’s scores change the entire dynamic of a film. Although there are many very talented composers, in my opinion there’s no one right now who’s close to what Zimmer is able to do.

One of the tragic realities of life — one that terrifies me most, is that at the end of my life, I'll never be able to hear music like this ever again. I pray that at least I will be able to hear it one last time before I close my eyes and return to the stars.
