Update? Sounds like typical government double talk to me. FJB!

Why don't you ask her why at the last minute the ship turned right into the supports on the bridge? Prays to all the construction workers.
  • Also this boat had past problems with purpulsion. And past ac ident I beleave in 2016. And no one is reporting that.

The Captain forgot to pull the emergency break on the ship.
  • The investigation could go on long after the debris is cleaned up. My condolences go to the families of those who may have perished in the key bridge collapse. I can't even imagine what they're all going through. This incident is a reminder to all of us not to take life for granted and live it to the fullest while you're still living.
  • I do not believe that was an accident at all. This is a deliberate act when it all comes out we will all see.

8 knots is fast when in Harbor. Those vessels CAN'T STOP on a dime.

The bridge in Florida the Sunshine bridge that collapsed years ago what is hit by a tanker so that is something that is comparable to what happened here
  • The NTSB needs to check when the ship entered port until it left as well. I suspect someone did something nefarious. Check who came on or off while in port as well.

Update: yeah it’s part of our investigation

As it's an uncrewed bridge (assuming here), getting the information to the road crew would be very hard unless they had a marine radio monitoring the maritime emergency channels. The other option would have been the coast guard knowing about the bridge road crew operations, which they may have. This is an important case for radio interoperability.
  • Why they continue to give this NTSB woman more air time is puzzling. This woman held a press conference yesterday - said nothing - and then when taking questions - just repeated those questions aloud - and again, said nothing. 24 hours later - she's still got nothing to say - so instead of holding interviews - do something!
  • this bridge was key infrastructure and our enemies took it out so easily I wonder what will be next. The seemingly inept ship handlers may in fact be the enemy within.

Was this an act of terrorism? There are some serious questions that need answers: The Dali was having power outages while at sea before entering the bay. They made an emergency call 2 minutes prior to steering into the pilon. They aimed at it. They didn't even steer towards the middle of the Bridge expanse. If the pilot was so experienced and was aware that Dali was having power issues, why didn't he use Tugboats? why didn't he steer through the center of the Bridge span, and with a ship that size, he should have had large tugboats accompany the ship. I also find it suspicious that 2 minutes of Data are missing on the VDR BLACK BOX which is designed NEVER to shut off. There are 3 backup battery systems in case the power failed, one is inside the unit itself, another is an independent battery system separate from the main power. My question is, could someone on that ship have been sabataging the power, with intentions to collapse that bridge which was being worked on with 20 workers? and could they have accessed the VDR BLACK BOX and shut it off? Then there is the crew member discrepancy issue: First, we are told that there are 22 crew onboard and the Captain is from Ukraine 🇺🇦, but the Captain is not on board. Then we are told that there are only 21 crew onboard, and all are from India, yet there are 2 pilots? Background investigations on all the crew and company need to be done. A very serious investigation needs to take place, about the company who owns the Dali, what countries fund it, its maintenance record, and, who and where was the Captain? And much more. The DALI WAS FULL OF TOXIC CHEMICALS THAT POURED INTO THE BAY! Why was this ship bringing TOXIC chemicals to the USA? Is that even legal? Call the EPA AS WELL! If Baltimore has a lax policy not requiring large tugs to accompany a ship this size, then they share some blame, but this is also suspicious because if someone wanted to damage our infrastructure, a terrorist would look for weaknesses in the USA & Baltimore Key Bay shipping policy. Also, there are too many countries involved in this company and ship, ( Singapore, British, Danish, Japan and who knows who else). The USA now has another weakness exposed in our border issues and it involves a review and new legislation to protect all waterways Airways, Railways, Shipping and borders of the USA. 🇺🇸 A perfect scenario for terrorists to use to damage us. I will remain suspicious.🙏🇺🇸🙏 Thank you.

Is it a thing for cargo ship operators to be drunk while operating a giant ship? Also, relax people, these idiots are shlitzed. On average, 2 cargo ships capsize, crash or sink A WEEK! Most common cause, inebriation.
