The voice cast — Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett-Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen — is inspired and the jokes are absolutely packed in.

The use of "What A Wonderful World" is so perfect here, and just one of many reasons that this movie is comedy gold! Other reasons include the Penguins, King Julien, and Nana beating up Alex.

My favourite thing to come out of this movie was the Penguins of Madagascar TV series. The Penguins were always the best part of the movies.

This movie was a big part of my childhood ngl. Even now I still find it hilarious. It just has a really weird, zany sense of humor that I can’t exactly explain.

It surprises me how many reactors didn’t even know about the existence of the Madagascar island. Like, where did they think lemurs come from?

When this came out we watched it every single day over and over. And at school me and my friends would repeat quotes throughout the day and it was just one of those movies that was sort of "trendy" for us, that we were sort of addicted to for awhile. 😂

The Melbourne Zoo in Australia has a great lion encloser. They have a large area for the lions to run around in and the is a platform you over the encloser. You can see everywhere in the encloser. You can always see the lions whenever you visit the zoo.

Yes please do parts 2&3. It just keeps getting better. My 2&3 year olds were crazy about these movies. I would watch over and over.
