Holy crap, they are beating the piss outta that thing. You love to see it. They rebuilt it, and they want to run it like they did... Need to get out there sooner or later. :D

The R&N paid for the whole Johnson bar, and they are gonna use the whole Johnson bar!

Beautiful footage. 2102 just might be one of the most impressive steam locomotives now operating in the United States. Kudos to the R&N for bringing her back!

2102 definitely had something to say about 1522's loudest engine title

Geez I knew 2102 is loud but when you have POV in the cab and right side of the drivers you can really hear how loud she is
  • It is great to see a Reading T1 class locomotive back in operation after decades of being inactive, the Iron Horse Rambles have been reborn into a new era & engine 2102 is delivering an impressive performance hauling the excursion trains.

That thing has so much power it’s rocking back and forth when it first starts accelerating😳

One of the best displays of big steam power and stack talk. Excellent video!

Very beautiful scenery where this train passed through. It's fantastic that some people are trying to keep these vintage trains going. Especially when they're a sight to behold because they're part of our railroad history.

1:58 wow! I still can’t believe the whistle got drowned out by the stack talk
  • This is an excellent video! That thing is beautiful. It's hard to believe it started as a 2-8-0. A triumph of the Reading shops.

The 2102 is near and dear to my heart not only as a steam fan, a rail fan, my great grandfather was once at the helm of this beauty before I was born, it’s amazing to see the iron horse shine brighter than before, I’m glad she still lives on god bless the 2102 and god bless America
  • I love this video, Hogger really gets after that throttle and works his engine. Large consist makes for excellent stack talk!!! Just awesome!!!

I love how you can see the two whistle cords in the cab. One for passenger trains and the other for freight trains
