🚧Things are getting messy🚧

Disney and Pixar's #InsideOut2 is coming to theaters June 2024 with brand new emotions!

The little voices inside Riley’s head know her inside and out—but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. “Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat,” said Mann. “That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.” A trailer, poster and film stills are now available for what promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024.

Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, “Inside Out 2” releases only in theaters Summer 202

  • Now this is a good idea for a sequel. Not only I want to see more emotions, but also new islands of personality that revolve around the phases some of us gone through as teenagers.

This sequel is going to be absolute fire!

Normally I hate my anxiety, but now that I known Maya Hawke is voicing this emotion in this film. I love her already. I love Maya Hawke in Stranger Things and I'm sure I'll love her as Anxiety in this. Maya was basically the embodiment of anxiety in season 4 of stranger things, so I'm sure she'll do a great job as the actual emotion here.

Now that I’m 18, maybe I’ll be able to connect even more with Riley

Anxiety comes with so much baggage and I’m so glad they added that little detail of her (the emotion) with so many suitcases. Kudos to Pixar 😂
  • @JustCallMeTiff.
i love how they are expressing puberty as "renovations". i cant wait to see how things would change with the new emotions, high expectations!

As an acting major I’m obsessed with the way maya hawke delivers her lines in this clip. It just sounds so accurate and perfect for anxiety.😂

It’s so cute how joy immediately gets Infront of all of them , she’s the protector and they all hide behind her
  • @mariaaloia142
As someone who suffers with anxiety, the baggage part is very smart because anxiety indeed does come with alot of baggage. I can’t wait to see this

Love Pixar for establishing fear and anxiety as two very different emotions. They're too commonly grouped together as synonyms rather than acknowledged as distinctive feelings.

The question is … am I going to get sad and cry . Get angry … be happy and worried and scared at the same time again. 😭😭😭 this movie had me all over the place

I can't wait to see all these emotions interacting. The only thing is why chosing all "negative" new ones. It's sounds cliché but especially when you're a teenager you're experiencing "Love", "Friendship", "Ambition" too. Maybe in a adulthood part 3? Well, Joy will have a lot to do to keep everyone together!
  • I love that Anxiety is her own emotion and not just an extension of Fear. It shows how complex the experience of anxiety is that it needs to be classified as its own emotion!

“Hi! Oh my gosh, I’m anxiety! Where can I put my stuff?” Honestly, the truest thing.
  • I CANNOT STOP PLAYING IT SO GOOD THAT I CANT STOP PLAYING A MILLION TIMES A DAY !!!!!!
