  • In the past I have struggled with a hard heart of unforgiveness. This unforgiveness caused so much sickness in my life and I spent a lot of money with doctors and medicine. I began to pray about it with counseling. One day, the time was right with God. He Holy Spirit worked in me and through me for forgiveness from the other person. On that day it was like a a heavy brick being lifted from my body. The Lord set me free. Amen

“Sometimes we hang onto bitterness to protect us from more hurt, but In blocking out the perceived bad that may or may not happen, we block out the good that God wants to bring into our lives (because we harden our hearts)” This spoke mountains to me! Thank you!
  • For a long while, I struggled to forgive a teacher who has repeatedly humiliated me in front of the class. During my prayer times, I prayed for him. To my surprise, with time, I started to really mean those prayers and want the best for him. Also, God gave me peace. This just goes to show that when you struggle to forgive someone, pray for him/her. God has a way of changing your heart.

This was good. I’m sure we’ve all experienced this heart problem. That’s why the Bible instructs us to guard our hearts with all diligence for out of it comes the issues of life. God, if we trust in you with all our hearts then we can be honest without fear. There are people I’m mad at and need to forgive. I’m sometimes indifferent bc I’ve gone through hurt. Give me your heart that puts others first and is not easily offended. You promised a new heart. Do it for all your daughters Jesus!
  • I do admit that I still see other ways that my heart is hardened. Thanks for not only addressing the problem but also giving the solution.

I am struggling right now because I don't have a hard heart but I am married to someone that does. It's very hard to navigate through this as I want to honor my commitment but recognize this behavior has put such a huge responsibility on me. I even sometimes mirror the same thing because of feeling hopeless after years of trying.

Because of severe depression at one point in our marriage where I had no energy or motivation and slept for days on end I missed some important years with my wife and children. Because of this their hearts have hardened toward me. I have recovered and constantly beg their forgiveness but am only met with anger and bitterness. And am now in the final stages of divorce after 30 years together. It really hurts that a hard heart does not allow it's host to see the pure hearts in others. I am hoping for and miracle and know that we don't wrestle against flesh but against the negative spiritual forces that strive to hinder us from God's best. I have shared your channel with my family many times but don't know if they have tuned in. I do hope they hear this one somehow. Please pray for us. Thank you.

Please pray for me! My past life of abuse addiction and depression has caused me not to be able to abide by Gods teachings! I am trying to give God my heart but my sinful nature wins over my deep need to change! I’ve been clean for four years now but my anxiety shame and anger still lingers 😢
  • Hello Christina! I do not comment often but need to let you know that you glow Jesus!! You are teaching the way, the truth and the life to all who partake. Never stop!!! Truly a Sister in Christ Jesus, Amen & Amen

That would be me! It's an area of my life God is working on in my new heart. I had a tower around my heart that was closed. I vowed to never let any9ne ever get close enough to me to hurt me again. I was the unknown concubine, Tamar, Dinah, Job, woman at the well, child sex-trafficked survivor, and David. I had no pride left, I forgave everyone but myself. I could not feel anything (love, hate. compassion or sympathy) and blamed God for all the horrific things that happened to me so listen to her because she is so accurate! When I received a new heart, I have to work very hard to keep it aligned with God. Bless you sister, your doung a good thing. ❤

Amen, that is exactly how I live, people will always tell me I'm too soft hearted and everybody is walking over me!
  • @scottworley1479
Even though I asked forgiveness for sin I still sometimes don't feel free. I felt bitterness coming over me because I couldn't understand why i couldn't get free. It's the only way I know to explain it. Please pray for me, Scott, for true repentance and forgiveness. Thank You And please pray for my son Chase for a soft heart and salvation. Thank You!
  • Yes I have experienced an unforgiving heart until God showed me in Scripture that I was hurting myself instead of the people I was mad at and that gave me the courage to forgive them, so that I could heal. So grateful to God for His loving care ❤

I have been a Christian since 1981, and I have never heard such a practical, applicable message in my life! I had no idea after all these years, that was my issue. Thank you so much for sharing. You hit the nail on the head!
