Sometimes makes me question how I went from a vintage aesthetic to a goth aesthetic lol

I cant ever get enough of Spirited away and Howls moving castle. What really catches me eye are the backgrounds (that house in the middle of the sea in Spirited away, and all of Howls stuff + what are the other rooms of his castle) I feel like theres so much story in the back. Where did he get those items? From a friend? In his giant mechanical castle, where do those other rooms lead to? Are there more secrets? Theres so much I want to know and wish I could explore, but alas, I'm not there.

When I turn into a parent, I will play this in my baby's room like a lullaby song. But babies are not the only ones who need pacifying, us grownups too. It helps us forget our problems and get a good nights rest amidst life's tests. Like Howl's castle as it walks, it rocks us gently as the castle goes to its journey somewhere probably fascinating. But it is night time and we need sleep. You hear Calcifer slowly eating the firewood, the chimes, the boiler rooms silently hissing in the background, and the music box's cheerful yet sometimes melancholic tune. You find yourself wanting to read the books in the shelves, books about romantic journeys and adventures; like every Miyazaki movie you've come to know but it plays vividly inside your imagination and takes you far away from the worries of life. You were spirited-away into a world like Howl's moving castle.

i love how Calcifer can be heard simply just by the cracking sound of fire. it is like you are being in a room with a loved one, and the both of you are quiet but it is very comfortable listening to natural sounds of each other. also i need to call out the sound of the house creaking at certain times, indicating that it is 'walking', moving.

The house is breathing calmly Entering a room of seclusion A vintage musicbox winded Trickling sounds of the fire crackle Burning wood radiating the colour of sun The creaking respond when you sit upon an old chair Faint, but surely, sound of fingertips that brush against paper Turning a page from a worn out book Whispering wind that hugs the house I hear the chimney of the engines gasp Delicate hung trinkets that clashes against each other Making tiny clinks like how stars would talk Faint footsteps in the hallway Short but clear and then fades A harsh brush against the floor and small thumps "Is that you Sofie?..." Assemblages of studies and interests Draping the entire room with beautiful, vibrant colours All tied together by a luminating yellow lamp, like gold The scent in the room, mix of metal and spices A nostalgic song that harmonizes with the crackling fire Neither drowned, rather fused to make this... tranquility This..."silence" Edit: omg, thank u for the likes and comments ^-^ and YES i wrote this at the spur of the moment. I was listening to this with earphones and my mind was fresh since i just woke up and i couldn't help but make this. Writing poems or literature like this rarely occurs like an enlightenment. Thank you so much and i'm glad it made all of you feel bliss as it did for me. And yeah, maybe i'll write something like this to other solace or serene music or asmr vids too ^-^ who knows hehe.
