  • Laundary IS being done by robots. Folding and sorting laundary are the new goals.
  • Alot of people in these comments fear and are just afraid. Times are changing so fast these days it IS scary. But I think theres so much good that can come from all this new tech! We'll find a way to make it work! Its bright and new! We need change

1984 - "Hehe no son, this is just Hollywood, make-believe, special FX. It could never happen. Don't worry son." 2024 - 😳
  • @BLAISEDAHL96
Remember when people were laughing at Tesla after the unveiling of their bot?
  • @human_shaped
It's just incredibly deceptive to say straight up that workers will all just become managers of robots. There aren't enough manager roles.
  • @Lotsao
This is only the top layer we're seeing, I'm sure somewhere someone is making even more advanced robots.
  • @donnytheflow
terminator or Wall-E future ahead? Place your bets, it's getting weird
  • @vaticinus
I've learnt my lesson about buying into the hype. I bought an electric in 2012. In 2017 they predicted that 80% of cars on the road will be self-driving by 2022. I don't see AI robots every replacing cheap skilled human labor.
  • @kinngrimm
Maybe a dumb question, are these and their parts 100% recyclable? So often have we seen products been pushed on the markets only to later see them end up in landfills. A lot of good materials will end up in these robots, could we maybe regulate and norm the extraction of those.
  • It’s the small tech companies that seem to be doing the most. Except Tesla which is big but acts small and agile.
  • @scaryscarface
You forgot to mention that most Chinese robots use open source software developed by US companies and universities to catch up/surpass US' robotic developments. Without it, they would still be way behind.
  • Elon said that Tesla is using two Optimus humanoid robots in his factory in Texas
  • @Magerquark
How long will it be until rich households will have a robot helping out? 5 years?
  • Robots doing labour jobs, Ai doing low level ad mid level management. Guess I'll see you at tent city!
  • @drsmetal2747
Andrew Yang warned us about automation when he was running for president a few years ago.
  • The only problem is robots build more robots and if you survive self replication and job displacement then there is deflation and abundance so what will organic life do for creativity and sense of purpose
