Both J, Eli and Layne can do bass parts while Geoff sings live.

About the bass when Geoff was doing the baritone solo - that is usually Eli, believe it or not. He has an incredible range! This cover was just amazing!!

The high voice in the beginning is Cesar doing a lip-buzz vocal that's been distorted, though the original is very close to what you actually hear. Geoff does the bass line when he does the solos here. To answer your question, a quite a bit of the budget comes from VoicePlay's almost 1,800 patrons. Love how the video's style suggests an old VHS tape, with sound and video drop-off, distortion, and pixilation plus the difference aspect ratio. The set consisted of the loading dock of one of the stores next to PattyCake Production's studio , a couple of light arrays, two fog machines, plus a 1972 Pontiac LeMans belonging to Layne's father. Fun Fact: Many people believe "Oh Lord" is "Hold On" instead. In homage to this Mandela Effect, there is ONE "Hold On" in the cover. See if you can find that Easter Egg.

They have become an amazing & magical group! 💖

That "electronic" melody line you heard at the start was Cesar with production distortion.

I love this. VoicePlay just knocked it out of the park.

They went 'full out' for the 80's feel to this, referencing the use of this track in iconic shows such as 'Miami Vice', with J rocking the 'Crockett' look, and the video effects to mimic an old VHS tape! They didn't know anyone with a Ferrari, so they used a 1972 Pontiac that Layne's dad has owned from new! They had issues keeping the headlights on for the 5 hours this took to film!

Not computer added sounds. Their voices with effects put on them and/or filters
